Overlooking the roofs of Galeries Lafayette, this restaurant combines Asian cuisine with a seventies decoration. With its harmonious name and decoration, Sixta is a soothing place that offers very good healthy recipes. If you are a vegetarian, this restaurant is dedicated to you. With its plants, dimmed lights and noble products, the restaurant’s relaxing environment will make you want to enjoy the peace and quiet a little longer. Is it a little extra ? Sixta has a tea room open every afternoon from 2:30 to 7:00 pm as well as relaxing rooms with 6 cocoons for restful naps. If you are looking for a zen place in the middle of the deafening noise of the city, this is the place to go !

Counted among the best value restaurants, Une Table à Deux is located in one of my favourite neighbourhoods: Les Carmes. The charming setting of the restaurant with its wooden furniture and brick walls makes you want to go there as much as for its food. The duo of star chefs Morgane and Nicolas were trained in Toulouse and Lourdes, where they perfected their skills. They also bring back Asian flavours from multiple trips to Malaysia and South Korea. So, a menu with a large choice, a neat presentation and a more than pleasant team… everything is gathered for you to spend an unforgettable moment so book quickly!

I ended up at a restaurant specialising in cassoulets ! And yes, how can you come to Toulouse without tasting this traditional dish. Chez Emile you can have the best cassoulet that you’ll ever taste! But don’t panic, if you are not a fan of this meal you can find several substitutes which are all equally good. Delight your taste buds with regional cuisine that has been on offer for several generations or try the unknown with cuisine from a wide range of backgrounds. Its red brick building is totally representative of this beautiful pink city and its location in the heart of the city centre on Place Saint Georges is adequate for a pleasant moment with family or friends. A must-see address, this restaurant is eager to meet you again to make you discover all its culinary delights.
